I give you this: a 1996 extended cab V6 taco with 130k miles. $12,000 or $14,000 seller not sure....
Let’s think about that for a few seconds, a twenty-two year old truck that only seats two and luggage for $12,000.

probably more than its worth... but it beats my crackpipe rule (granted i rarely use that for anything over 2 grand)
100 bucks for every month it will likely keep going

That’s about what I plan to sell mine for in 19 years. Maybe a little more since I’ll have fewer miles on it.

I’ll take the guilt off your conscience and buy it from you right now for $12,000,

Solid crack pipe. That vintage of Hilux would set me back half that...and still be rubbish.

This is o ne of the reasons I’m looking at buying a Rampage. All the small trucks in Alberta that don’t look like some sort of ex hobo residence are WAY too expensive to be reasonable. Lots of full-size half-tons are cheaper. It’s just that I don’t want a half- ton, and the half a ton of gas it’ll burn annually.

Yeah, I got $ 2400 for mine, same mileage, 7 years newer! All the Tacos around here are lifted with fake-ass beadlockers or are uninspected farm vehicles
